Do you sometimes wish that you had more sushi in your life but don't want to go broke in the process of pursuing your passion? Well let the good times roll! Chef Michael has spent quite a bit of time traveling through Japan and he even used to be a sushi chef at famed Chef Roy Yamaguchi's Roy's Hawaiian Fusion. It's time you rolled up your sleeves and got familiar with the process. We'll cover four of the most common sushi varieties in class and you'll have free reign to create your own rolled masterpiece at home; choosing any ingredients you like. Recipes for basic Spicy Tuna Maki and California Uramaki are included in the recipe packet along with recommendations for ingredient substitutions. An ingredient and equipment list will be sent to you upon registration. Chef Michael is always happy to help you locate a store near you that sells the required specialty ingredients.
